Hamish is the owner and senior partner of Birchfield Dental Practice.  He graduated from Glasgow University in 1991 with several awards and went on to do his postgraduate training at Oxford University.  Hamish was president of the Wessex branch of the British Dental Association and is the member of the British Society for Occlusal studies.  He is registered with the Care Quality Commission, the British Dental Association , the General Dental Council, Denplan  DPAS, Invisalign, Six month smiles, Inman appliances and NTI 
 
Hamish has undertaken advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry under the instruction of some of the UK's leading Cosmetic Dentists. He has a special interest in patients with complex treatment needs, bites and Jaw Joints (TMJ) and implants.
The practice is equipped with the latest digital scanners and software .
 
Outside of work Hamish enjoys cycling, charity work and spending time with his family, he is married with 3 children and lives locally.
